Equal Rights Beyond Borders is a non-profit organization committed to strengthening the rights of people on the move at Europe’s external and internal borders. We focus on family reunification, reception conditions, access to asylum, the rights of unaccompanied minor on the move and cases of illegal detention or return within Europe or to Turkey. We offer legal advice and legal representation for people on the move in EU Reception and detention Centres on border islands of Greece as well as on the Greek mainland and enforce their rights through strategic litigation in Germany and Greece. All offices work in close cooperation with partners in Greece, Germany and at EU level.

In January 2021, we started operating an office on Kos. On Kos, our legal aid services focus on illegal detention, family reunions and violation of human rights during reception of people and children on the move. To strengthen our team there, we are looking for an Arabic Interpreter & Case-Worker for our Kos office.
