Equal Rights Beyond Borders consists of two separately registered legal entities in Greece and Germany. Accountability is particularly important to us: We publish our transparency reports online.
Ansgar is responsible for human rights and migration at the Evangelical Church in Germany. The humanitarian situation at the EU’s external border is a particular focus of his work which is why he has been supporting Equal Rights Beyond Borders since 2017.
Catharina holds a law degree from Heidelberg University and is currently a PhD candidate at Frankfurt University. Catharina co-founded Equal Rights Beyond Borders in 2016 and has worked with us ever since.
Katharina is Legal Officer for European Migration Policy at the Centre for Migration and Social Issues at the Diakonie Germany. She has been supporting Equal Rights Beyond Borders since the early founding period in 2016, especially regarding funding and public relations.
