Equal Rights Beyond Borders submitted a complaint yesterday to the UN Special Rapporteur on the human rights of migrants, drawing attention to the immigration detention of unaccompanied and separated children in the “Safe Areas” of the CCACs on Kos and Leros. The complaint is based on a report Equal Rights published earlier this week that documents the policies, practices, and conditions in the Kos and Leros Safe Areas between August 2024 and April 2025.
