Children in custody? Legal assistance at the European Court of Human Rights
Minors fleeing their country of origin and arriving alone in the European Union need special protection. In Greece they are taken into protective custody under disastrous conditions. This happens because there are not enough places in special accommodation facilities. So few, in fact, that more than a fifth of unaccompanied minors in Greece live on the streets.
In recent times, we have often been able to obtain the release and better accommodation of minors before the European Court of Human Rights. To this end, we would like to increase our capacity and would be grateful for your support!Show list of all news
